WebSpike is a document rendering engine designed for web server. It is a technical solution to the all too common problem of building a web page from subcomponents. In WebSpike, each subcomponent is called a Spike. WebSpike makes Spikes from pluggable builders, so they can come from all kinds of source, including scripted languages, but most commonly Spikes are written in WebSpike's native template driven XML dialect SpikeML.
WebSpike is distributed under the free software license GNU General Public License Version 2. The full text of this license is listed on this site but you can also read the original version on the web site of the GNU Project.
WebSpike is fully functional software, but has a very long features todo list. Download today and try it out. Feature requests and comment are welcome.
